What happens after I book a holiday

  1. You will receive an email with the Order Confirmation.

  2. Order Confirmation, however, does not mean your booking is confirmed. That on the other hand depends on the availability of your requested dates with the operator.

  3. Our operators are located at remote locations. So to communicate and confirm we take a maximum of 48 hours within which your Booking Status will be notified to you via email.

  4. On availability of our requested dates, you’ll be notified with an email of your Booking Confirmation and an Invoice.

  5. In case of unavailability, don’t fret! We’ll send you a reschedule request. You can then either change your travel dates or request for a 100% refund if you wish to cancel your order.

  6. Retain the email containing your Booking Confirmation voucher. It’s your golden ticket to be presented at the time of check in. You don’t have to take a print out of the voucher though. Our operators accept electronic vouchers.

  7. You’ll be provided the contact details of your Gypsy Buddy and Gypsy Guide – who’ll be there for you from the beginning to the end.

  8. The Gypsy Buddy will be a Gypsy Shack member who’d help you with any query that boggles your brains.

  9. The Gypsy Guide is your host - who’d ensure you have a wonderful experience.

  10. Remember, at any point prior to the beginning of your journey if you wish to cancel your booking, please refer to the cancellation policy of your requested package. Alternatively, you can also call your Gypsy Buddy for the same.
