The winter time, especially, gives a snowy white magic touch to it.
About Deoban Trek
The Deoban trek begins at Chakrata, a town situated between the Tons and Yamuna Rivers, at an altitude of about 2100 m. The town is home to the famous tiger falls and a shiv temple too - a must see for any traveler. This trek takes us through dense forest trails to Kanasar campsite set among large deodhar trees. The Forest Rest House at Deoban where we trek to the next day overlooks a beautiful splash of meadows. Vyas Shikhar at an altitude of 3000 metres is the highest point on the Deoban ridge with promising views of the Himalayan peaks of Kandariya Mahadev, Swargarohini, Ranglana, Banderpoonch to name a few.
