About Hampta Pass Trek
Hampta Pass (4270 m) straddles the Pir Panjal Ranges and connects the Kullu district with the Lahaul & Spiti district. Mostly popular with amateur trekkers, the journey includes scenic landscapes, dark coniferous forests, open green pastures and meadows, glacial valleys and a adventurous pass crossing. In winter, the pass is covered under metres of snow and that draws more trekking enthusiasts.
