Fishing in the crystal clear glacial waters of the Tirthan River is heaven for any fly-angler. And even if you haven't before mastered your patience and the art of fishing - this experience is a great beginner. The river is abundant with trout fishes and even home to the coveted Rainbow Trout. Besides the fishing, the campsite at Jibhi is like the world divided in two. You step out of the campsite and the green surroundings, the pine trees, the Jibhi River greet you. You step into your tents and immediately feel like it all disappears to provide you with a bed, and other luxuries like wi-fi and attached bathroom. It's like a two second ride to the outside world and back.
60 km away from the Kullu, lies Banjar and our quaint Jibhi Camp with its pine trees and beautiful meadows. Jibhi is but a non-commercial abode in the loud and adventurous Himachal Pradesh. Jibhi, with its serene ambience, its wild flowers, lush green forests, alpine meadows and streams is a peaceful expanse. Around 20 km away, lies the Tirthan River, a part of the Tirthan Valley. Here you can witness the crystal clear and icy cold waters where trout fishes flourish. To all the fly-anglers out there - this is certainly the Shangri-La of fly-fishing.
